Lettuce x Auckland Art Gallery Puzzle - Dick Frizzelll

Just outside Taumarunui depicts one of many ‘Frizzell landscapes’ that Dick and his wife Jude found during their ‘seek it and shoot it’ expeditions around the country. Driving north out of Taumarunui early in the morning, Jude suddenly exclaimed, ‘there’s one!’ – Dick quickly parked the car, got his camera out, and the vista was captured for perpetuity, adapted for this lithograph. A stylised depiction of a quintessentially ‘Kiwi’ landscape, Just outside Taumarunui allows us to pause amid the tranquil rivers, forests and sky that we often fleetingly glimpse on a road trip.

Puzzle pieces come in a fabric bag inside the box.

The cardboard for the puzzles and boxes are a mixture of recycled and sustainably grown timber.

All inks used are soy based ink.
